Environmental degradation is a consequence of social degradation, of the inability of the community to establish positive relationships with people and things. We need to rethink the world in which we live, from the design of cities and homes to the design of everyday objects. The designer has the task of rebalancing the relationship between production, the environment and society, in order to maintain a mutual bond, a fertile multidisciplinary dialogue.
