Biographical notes
Juan Pascual (Barcelona, 1967) graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of Zaragoza and an Executive MBA from IE Business School. He started his career as a clinical veterinarian and later moved on to work in the animal health sector, where he has spent most of his professional life. Within this field, he has worked in sales, marketing and management in several countries, including Italy, France and the United States as well as Spain and Latin America. He has a significant presence on social media, where he comments on the key – yet often unknown – role played by animals in society and actively shares content on issues related to animal husbandry, animal welfare, pets and the importance of animal products in our diets. He has published several articles on many science blogs, in cultural magazines and in many industry journals.
