Description
Virgil has gone away, but Dantino is not alone. Beatrice greeted him on top of the mountain of Purgatory and is now preparing to accompany him on the last part of the journey: Paradise.
Heaven opens in front of Dantino and his new friend, and to heaven they are suddenly transported. Figures that mingle and dance in the light come meet the two little ones, talk to them, and embrace them in joyful circles.
Yet there are still many doubts, difficulties, and tests to face. But Dantino will be able to overcome them. He will receive answers about his extraordinary journey and will finally be able to abandon himself to the light that all envelops and shines in all things.
Biographical notes
SILVIO BIAGI, classe 1958, ha insegnato per oltre un trentennio Italiano e Latino alle scuole superiori. Ha collaborato, come coredattore, prima alla rivista “Milleottocentosessantanove”, poi alla rivista “Il Gobetti”; per entrambe ha scritto articoli di ambito artistico e letterario; su Dante ha pubblicato Madonna Povertà. Francesco nella Commedia, in “Il Gobetti”, 2016.
ALICE ROVAI, classe 1997, ha conseguito il diploma di maturità artistica e ha frequentato la Libera Scuola del Nudo dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. Ha realizzato disegni animati in stop motion e disegni per pubblicazioni come “Pinocchio - graphic novel di Alice Rovai”. Lavora come comic artist su canali di diffusione web e collabora come social manager per l’Archivio e il Museo Venturino Venturi.
