The author of the book, a true Venetian and a lover of his own city, discovered and experienced these places during his numerous wanderings, snooping through the narrow streets, peering through doors and courtyards, making small, but always polite, transgressions and managing to capture with his camera the colourful and sometimes decadent soul and the timeless charm that have always characterized a Venice with many places yet to discover.

Vinicio Tassani was born in Venice and spent his youth there, an important period for his photographic training, then deepened at the New York Institute of Photography. He puts the experience gained with travel photography in street photography and portraits.
